Announcing our Free Event with Collections Advisor Spencer W. Stuart: "The Practice of Collecting: The Course of Collections Past & Present"
Join us at 7:30 PM EDT on the evening of Monday, April 26th for an expert presentation and lively discussion about collecting with professional collections advisor Spencer W. Stuart. This event is free of charge and open to all.
We are very pleased to invite the Worthwhile Magazine community to attend a virtual event discussing the practice of collecting. Join us on April 26th at 7:30 PM Eastern Time to listen to our regular contributor Spencer W. Stuart explore a topic relevant to collectors of art, antiques, books, and other object categories.
Spencer is a collections advisor, providing advisory services focusing on middle to mature stage collectors. He offers guidance on the acquisition of new items, the comprehensive cataloguing of their holdings for tax/estate and lending/donating purposes. He also assists in deaccessioning strategies - be it through donation to institutions, private sale, or auction.
His presentation “The Practice of Collecting: The Course of Collections Past & Present” will be followed by a question-and-answer period for the audience. In addition to the content being useful for collectors, professionals will also benefit such as appraisers, art advisors, and curators. We are thrilled to host this event free of charge to all attendees and are grateful to Spencer for generously sharing his expertise.
Spencer welcomes inquiries from collectors looking to work with a professional collections advisor. He can be reached by phone (604.363.1012) or email to discuss the nature and needs of your collection.
The presentation will occur Monday, April 26th with a start time of 7:30 PM Eastern Time / 6:30 PM Central Time / 5:30 PM Mountain Time / 4:30 PM Pacific Time.
